Power BI Report

Step 1 : Go to the Azure portal, create a SQL database if it hasn't been created, and open the server.

- If you haven't selected your IP address to access the server, then open your already created server and go to the Networking section under the Security section from the sidebar.

- Click on Add IP Address to add your IP Address.


Step 2 : Go to the overview page of your SQL Database and copy the server name.


Step 3 : Install the Power BI Application if not already installed. 


Step 4 : Open the Power BI Application and click on Get data to import data.


Step 5 : Click on more..., and select Azure SQL Database.


Step 6 : Paste the server name you copied earlier.


Step 7 : Select Use my credentials and click OK.


Step 8 : Add your database credentials to access the data. And click Connect.


Step 9 : Select the tables you want to use to generate graphs and reports.



Step 10 : On the right side you can see the imported tables.


Step 11 : From the left sidebar if you click on Model View, you can see the relationships between tables.




Step 10 : Now go back to Report View Page.


Step 11 : From the right sidebar. Select the Stacked Column Chart from different types of Charts.


Step 12 : Now from the selected tables on the right side select the columns you want to work on.
